Behaviour Management – Individual Case Management
Dealing with students with continuing and relentless negative behaviour can be a very difficult task for a teacher, especially considering that every action that you take will be observed not only by one, but by all students. Addressing negative behaviour can have positive or negative repercussions not only for the targeted student, but for the entire class. This is why I believe that the most important aspect of dealing with repeated disruptive behaviour is to try to understand the reasons behind the students’ behaviour, and to respond according to the reason and not according to the behaviour.
