Professional Development
I believe that getting involved within the school community as well as collaborating with your colleagues, school staff, and parents, is an essential part of being a well-rounded teacher. Fellow teachers and other school support staff can be an important asset, especially to a new teacher. These teachers, assistants, daycare workers, lunchtime supervisors, administrative assistants, maintenance, and administrators have experience and information about the school and the students that you may not yet have as a new teacher.
Professional Development
Being a teacher is an ongoing learning process; a great teacher not only has to gain experience and reflect on his/her teaching in order to grow, but he/she should also continuously continue to learn about new ideas and ways of teaching. I always strive to continue learning new ways to better myself as an educator
